About

Banana Pepper Salsa

A simple fresh salsa with mild to medium heat. Red onion can be swapped with white, and even yellow works in a pinch. Add or remove peppers to adjust heat - replace the jalapeno with a habanero if you’re feeling spicy. Fresh grated black pepper can add to the flavor as well.
The degree of chopping and mincing depends on your preference. I prefer a less chunky salsa with finely chopped onion, but evenly chopping everything works as well.
Fresh limes are ideal, but lemons or store-bought lime juice works in a pinch.
