About

Marinated Chicken and White Sauce

Marinated chicken with a yoghurt based white sauce, roughly similar to the chicken from Halal Guys. Goes well with yellow rice.
I rarely have whole cloves or cumin seeds on hand, so I usually wing it with powdered spices. 5 whole cloves roughly corresponds to 3.5 tsp clove powder, though you can get away with less. Feel free to add other spices to the marinade as well!
The mayonnaise should be normal/non-sweet, but Kewpie works alright if that’s all you have. The sauce will end up slightly sweet, which could be offset with a bit more lemon.
